With a background in youth work and sports, Keiren thought of the idea for Helping Kids Achieve after coming back from a trip to Ghana.

Raised in Nottingham; Nico loves nothing more than teaching kids the fundamentals of basketball. You can also catch him on KEMET FM on the weekends as a DJ!

Khaleil had played basketball for many years before deciding to get into coaching. He is a talented motivator and has a long career ahead of him in the sports industry.

Thesian describes his journeys in youth work and basketball as two defining things in his life. Growing up around the the youth centers of the Lenton area. In his free time he runs a media business creating visuals for local Nottingham businesses.

Junior started his journey with Helping Kids Achieve in 2019 by using our services but has now developed into a coach in is own right. With a key eye to detail, Junior is an important part of the team.

Youth worker

Quade was referred to us in 2022, after wanting a change of direction in his life and wanting to help give opportunities to young people that he never got. He started off as a volunteer but now has earned his place as a paid member of staff delivering sessions across the city.
